1.a state in which supreme power is held by the people and their elected representatives, and which has an elected or nominated president rather than a monarch. So yes its A

KjSaif (kjsaif):

Uganda is a presidential republic, in which the President of Uganda is both head of state and head of government. There is a multi-party system. Executive power is exercised by the government. Legislative power is vested in both the government and the National Assembly. The system is based on a democratic parliamentary system with universal suffrage for all citizens over 18 of years age.
