Determine whether f(x)= (sinx-tanx)/cosx is odd or even

For even, \(f(-x) = f(x)\)

For odd, \(f(-x) = - f(x)\)

So check out \(f(-x) = \dfrac{\sin (-x) - \tan (-x) }{\cos (-x)} \) vs \( f(x) = ...\)

\(= \dfrac{-\sin (x) + \tan (x) }{\cos (x)}\)

\(= -\dfrac{\sin (x) - \tan (x) }{\cos (x)}\)
