I'LL GIVE A MEDAL! I NEED HELP UNDERSTANDING THIS ASSIGNMENT!

OpenStudy (dimples97):

Write an essay in which you analyze and evaluate the development of a fiction story from the Part 1 readings. Poetry or nonfiction will not work for this assignment. The essay should contain an introduction, body, and conclusion, be 1-2 pages in length, typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font, size 12. Please save as a Word document and submit as an attachment to be graded. • Explain which story you chose and briefly summarize the plot. • Identify key choices the author made in writing the story. For example, consider where the story is set, how the action is ordered, or how the characters are introduced and developed. • Analyze the impact of the author’s choices, discussing how these decisions affect both the story’s meaning and the reader’s experience. • Organize your ideas so that each new idea builds on the one it follows to create a unified whole.

Okay, so I guess you need to choose a story to read. Not sure if the school provides you with one. Or you have to get one yourself. Choose a fiction one (maybe a short story with a moral). Okay while righting make sure the font is in Time New Romans (if you have Word) or www.googledocs.com make sure its 1-2 pages. Mostly 4 and a half detailed paragraphs. With seven or more sentences making a paragraph. Double spaced. Look on www.youtube.com if you do not know how to do that. All you have to do is explain the story (like paraphrase it...). Choosing key words that the author used to create the theme. I guess determine where or when the story is taking place using clues while reading. Describe the characters and how they got introduced. (idk about the action choice). Um, how did the effects of the story (what drama might have happened) affect you personally as a reader and possibly every reader. You could write about the authors word choice...was it positive or negative. Essay setup: 1. Introduction 2. The story I chose (or why I chose this story) a. (details) b. (explain details) 3.The setting of the story/development & introduction of characters c. (details) d. (explain details) 4. Autors word choice & cause/effect on what happened in the story e. (details) f. (explain details) Conclusion Hope this helps. God bless! **sorry if this confuses you or if there are any mistakes.
