What do you need?
Let me take a look...
Do you know what the answer choices are saying?
sorta @Linktra
Well, with the choices, which one do you think is correct?
@linktra well I feel like its either b or D
Why would you think that?
because the sides are parallel and congruent
Ok, so with Anastasia's 2nd Statement, she was proving that it is with congruent sides AB and DC. Does that mean you can prove the other two sides congruent as well, or be proving sides are also parallel?
parallel?
Nope. Because her 2nd statement is proving sides AB and DC congruent, you would want to make sure to show sides AD and BC congruent as well to prove the shape as a rectangle. Though I do see where you are going with it, which at some points is correct, but for this one they are looking for congruent. So now what do you think the answer is?
D because the second statement is already A
Nope, for this your not looking for parallel. It already states that sides AB and DC are congruent, you now need to state that AD and BC are congruent. So you can already cancel out B and D because they are not proving sides congruent. So which of the remaining two choices states that AD and BC are congruent?
i know I sound stupid but for some reason they started teaching us proofs before actual geometry. That only leaves A+C I have a feeling its A from what you said, but then again its probable wrong.
Its ok, they did the same thing to me. The correct answer is C because since they already stated that AB is congruent with DC, you would want to answer with stating that AD is congruent with BC which is what C says.
@Linktra ok thank you! (math is my worst subject and I'm getting no help in school)
Well, your most welcome! I love being able to help someone, cuz I know the struggles it can bring. XD
