question is an equation below

OpenStudy (blueballs):

find the inverse of \[g(x)=\frac{ x-7 }{ -2 }\]

OpenStudy (blueballs):

\[y=\frac{ x-7 }{ -2 }\]\[x=\frac{ y-7 }{ -2 }\]\[-2x=y-7\]\[7-2x=y\] or \[x+7*(-2)=y\]

OpenStudy (blueballs):

the last 2 equations are the answers and the first 3 are my work

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

7-2x=y for the inverse is correct. Idk what that very last equation is supposed to be.

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

But write it as\[\large g^{-1} (x) =7 - 2x\]
