OpenStudy (sunnydeval):

what is slug in full detail

OpenStudy (osprey):

'fraid I don't have a spare microscope to have a look at a slug. Probably would wriggle around a lot too ...

OpenStudy (irishboy123):

it's actually a fundamental unit within some unit system @osprey i reckon it might be a measure of slowness :-)

OpenStudy (irishboy123):

Nobel Prize, anyone ?!?!

OpenStudy (osprey):

@IrishBoy123 I sort of very vaguely remembered that interim. Mind you, it sort of matches my brain sometimes (some ?) @IrishBoy123 Nobel prize (choose your subject ... )

OpenStudy (irishboy123):

Subject: Well, if Dylan gets one, what about Bowie and Morrison...?

OpenStudy (osprey):

@IrishBoy123 Choose and we'll get something through to Stockholm for you. (If I meet Agnetha ... ). ps I listen to Jonathan Agnew on the radio when there's test cricket on. At the mo they're in Bangladesh, sweating by the sound. JA is a brilliant waffler. He is also a very skillful traveller if that makes sense. He's got a PPL, I think. He was "telling me" about the speed at which the sun sets in B compared to further North. I reckon that he and cricket should be on the schools' curriculum under the excuse of "sports geography" or some other civil service waffle title.

OpenStudy (irishboy123):

OK wavelength of a ball bowled by Stuart Broad At a guess, its \(10^{-35}\)m Keeping it real!!

OpenStudy (osprey):

how did the wave length of an 88mph ball medium fast bowler get into this ?

OpenStudy (osprey):

Gotcha ... it's the SLUG post #

OpenStudy (irishboy123):

yes !!
