OpenStudy (jamesreed30):

A 10 inch diameter pumpkin pie is cut into six equal servings what is the area of the top of each piece of pie

KjSaif (kjsaif):

The sectional area of a pumpkin pie is assuming the shape of a circle. The sectional area is determined by Area = pi r^2. Substituting, the area is equal to pi * (10)^2/4 or 25 pi inches2. Dividing the pie into 6 parts results to an area of 13.09 inches square.

OpenStudy (jamesreed30):

So 13.09?

OpenStudy (jamesreed30):

And I have so more questions, would you care to help? @KJSaif
