Okay so it's r - 0.50 = -4.5 right?

Yeah I am doing it now okay so you are solving r, right? so what you do is isolate the r and bring 0.5 to the other side so r = -4.5 + 0.5 (it's not -0.5 anymore because you subtracted it from both sides) r = -4
