the product of 4 and a number decreased by 3
the product of 4 and a number decreased by 3 I don't know if this means to multiply 4 by some number x and then subtract 3 4x - 3 or to do this: 4* (x -3) where the number x is decreased by 3 and then multiplied by 4. What do you think?
yes really @Directrix you think it right bc. from this posted text of this exercise there arfe these two possibility cases 4(x-3) or 4x -3 so what will be right sure ?
The question is ambiguous. I am thinking this: find the product; after that, subtract @jhonyy9 Good to see you again.
yes i agree this 4x-3 too

Not that we should depend on the Internet for instructions but this example confirms our thinking. @jhonyy9
