OpenStudy (ajspeller):

Get the terms with a variable of p on one side of the equation. (Use the opposite operation to move the term) Get the constant values on the other side of the equation. (Use the opposite operation to move the term) Combine the like terms on the left. Use Integer Addition/Subtraction Combine the like terms on the right. Use Integer Addition/Subtraction Then divide both sides by the number in front of the variable p.

OpenStudy (sky97):

Transfer -11p to the left making it 11p . Transfer 3 to the right making it -3 Leading you to this equation 17p + 11p = -32-3 Add the 17 p and 11p then also do the -32-3. Divide the answer of -32-3 with your answer from 17p+11p
