I WILL METAL AND FAN!!!
1.How can we create equations in one variable and use them to solve problems? 2.How can we create equations in two variables to represent relationships between quantities? 3.How do equations or inequalities help us understand how to interpret whether a solution is possible for a particular real-world situation? 4.If I have an even integer on a number which we will call ‘x’, what could you call the next consecutive number and the next consecutive even integer on the number line? 5.Why does the inequality sign have to be flipped when multiplying and dividing by a negative number like in −2x > 10? 6.Explain the steps in solving the following absolute value equation. 2|x−2|=12. 7.How do you show where an inequality is true on a number line? 8.Describe the differences between conjunctions and disjunctions. 9.How is solving a literal equation different from solving a one- or two-step equation?
1) 2x=4, example of 1 var equation, add story to it 2) y=x^2 , example of 2 var related equation, add story to it 3) 4) if n is an integer on the number line, n+1 is the next and n+2 is the one after that if n is even, then it is some multiple k of 2, so n=2k, apply all this to your question. 5) consider the number line, plug values in x, like -10 or 10, and explore what happens when u divide both sides by -1 6)|x-2| is always going to give u positive number, if u see that quantity turn negative just make it positive so for example if x =0, then 0-2 = -2, this will come out as 2 because of the absolute bars. Absolute bars means to the take the distance away from the origin, -2 and 2, still have a distance of 2 units away from the origin. 7) 1>x>=2, for example you would draw an open circle around 1 since x is only greater than 1, but not equal to 1, and shade the right side of the number line for the numbers more than 1 upto 2, and u would put a black circle around 2 since x is equal to 2 and less than 2. 8)google 9) google - "A literal equation is an equation where variables represent known values. Literal equations allow use to represent things like distance, time, interest, and slope as variables in an equation. Using variables instead of words is a real time-saver!"
i gave you big hints or part solutions on most of them, to help you do it yourself.
if you're still stuck after trying again, ill help you out
hope it goes well
Thank you so much! This will help a lot
