1. How can being involved in extracurricular activities help you stand out on your college application?

Extra curricular activities show colleges that you are willing to get out there and work. Community service and sports are probably the most common. I have some connections and next year I will be helping the K9 unit train dogs. If you can find something not a lot of other people can do, it will really help you out. Hope this helps!! :)

Extra curricular activities will show a college how good you are at balancing your responsibilities, along with your activities you do for fun. I'm currently a Student Council member at large, Vice President of Key Club, Vice President of Best Buddies, take part in anywhere from 4-12 plays/musicals a year, I will be taking show choir next semester, I will be retrice. directing/choreographing a young children's show next semester, and I also have a job working part time at McDonalds. Along with adding in a social life, it will show the admissions officer looking over your application how well you balance your schedule.

Thank you you definitely helped
