Well it says that Q is the mid point of the line segment GH.
which means that 2(GQ)=GH
So placing the values in there we get
2(2x+3)= 5x-5
Solving that,we get x=11
Now when we place this value of x in the equation for GQ that is 2x +3 we get
2(11)+3
22+3
25 units.

That's brilliant I complicated the process and I made it like
2x + 3)^2 = 5x -5
But u did it right good work
