ok. in case the first one y=3x+1 -3x+y=1 do you can rewriting these equations with variable terms on one side isolated ?

-3x+y=1 multiply by -1 both sides and will -3x+y=1 3x-y=-1 yes ? but now than you assume term by term will get 3x +y = -1 -3x -y = 1 ------------------ 0 0 0 right ? do you understand it now what mean system with infinity solutions ?
