kinetic energy = energy by virtue of MOVEMENT. half m v squared. 1/2 m v^2
energy cannot be created nor destroyed, the total amount of energy in a given system is constant.
potential energy = energy by virtue of POSITION in a force field. classic eg is gravitation, and mgh and when you drop something on your toe it hurts.
to transfer is to place something that was in New York in Los Angeles. If that something happens to be a phone call, then you've transferred the talk from NY to LA.
