And here's what I have so far Part A: Dilation is a type of transformation that changes the size but not the shape of a figure. The scale factor of the dilation that transforms triangle PQR to triangle P'Q'R' is 1/2. 1/2 (8,0) = (4,0) 1/2 (6,2) = (3,1) 1/2 (-2,-4) = (-1,-2)
I literally JUST got on...lol :D
lol!
1: (4, 0) (2, 0)? Idk...I don't remember doing this...
but if dilation is 1/2 you are dividing by 2...I THINK
2: 3,1 umm...1.5,0.5? 3: -1, -2 -0.5, -1.. I'm probably killing this :|
lol those are the ones i already did
i just need them checked;P
OH!!! I see...I think i'm starting to get this...
LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL ok,ok, yes because 8/2 is 4 6/2 is 3 and 2/2 is 1 -2/2 is -1 and -4/2 is -2 So correct... :)
was thinking that you needed me to figure out the dilation so I was dividing AGAIN..lol
did I answer your question? cause you know you could've just gotten a calculator...
@milo123 In your graph, P and R have not been plotted correctly. If you make corrections to the graph, the solution may be more obvious.
what?
