Could someone explain how to solve this to me?

Melissa is helping her dad build a walkway in their backyard. The walkway will be 545454 feet long and 1.51.51, point, 5 feet wide. The local hardware store sells tiles which are 1.51.51, point, 5 by 1.51.51, point, 5 feet and come in boxes of 121212.
How many boxes of tiles do they need?

Are those the numbers given in the question? what do they mean by 1.51.51.5 feet wide. These are odd numbers but I guess it would still be possible to work out a rough answer...
