OpenStudy (juanilet2000):

A force of 300 newtons is applied to an object and the acceleration is 2.0 m/s^2. If the force is doubled, determine the new acceleration.

OpenStudy (driftless):

So, if you have F=ma you can find out 300=m2. Using mass as a constant, m=150 so doubling force to 600, 600=150a solve for a. 600/150=4 4m/s^2
