For the first one, with every difference of 2 months, the baby grows 1.5inches y = 20 + x(0.75) Where x is the number of months, so for every 2 months, the baby will be 20 (your base number) + value y would be the length (inches) 0.75 is how much the baby grows in one month Point slope: y - y1 = m(x-x1) y - 20 = 0.75 (x - 4) Because at 4 months, (x axis) the baby is 20 inches (y axis) y1 = inches x1 = months
