OpenStudy (rc3212):

btw i dont need the answer i just looked up hard math problems to post it and see if anyone could answer it

OpenStudy (mangotangochick):

im trying to solve it now sorry its hard :P

OpenStudy (bonnieisflash1.0):

i guess A.

OpenStudy (mangotangochick):

This is crazy long lmao, but basically, you have to cut out an imaginary cross section of the diagram which kinda looks like:|dw:1477593288684:dw|

OpenStudy (mangotangochick):

Then you find out the gradient of the triangle, and from there you can find the gradient of the little triangle attached to it that goes towards the direction of the centre of the circle (negative reciprocal) The gradient would negative 120/50 (because change in y/change in x = m) This gives you -12/5 and so gives you 5/12 as the gradient of the little triangle

OpenStudy (mangotangochick):

From here you can tell that the height of the little triangle formed from the little triangle (will add drawing) is 5 and the length is 12. |dw:1477593879928:dw| From there im actually stumped xD
