Can someone help me with this problem? Walk me through it plz: 12x-3x+11>4x-(17-9x) A x>-7 B x<7 C x<-14/11 D x>-14/11
Look at the left side: 12x-3x+11 Simplify that. Post what you get, okay? @Zane_Romeave
9x+11
>>>9x+11 Correct. Now, to simplify the right side. How does this simplify: 4x - (17 - 9x ) = ? @Zane_Romeave
13x-17?
>>13x-17 yes. Now we put the left and right sides back together. 12x-3x+11>4x-(17-9x) 9x+11 > 13x-17
Now, subtract 13x from both sides. What do you get? 9x + 11 > 13x - 17 -13x -13x ------------------------
okay so the left side will be 9x+11 and your right side will be 13x-17 it will look like... 9x+11>13x-17 now add 17 to both sides and 9 x to both sides and you should get 28>21x then divide by 21 on both sides and you get 28/21< x you change the sign because you divided
@Zane_Romeave
then choose which answer makes your statement true
decimal =1.33333333333.... if that helps you i know a lot of people have issues with fractions
B
