A communist country decides to give its people more economic freedom in an attempt to improve its failing economy. What outcome is the government most likely worried about in this case?

wat do you think? when little by little freedom is given the people will start wanting more political freedom

Possibly a REVOLUTION ? When the population who aspire to prosperity and wealth and health get a bit like totally fed up with being told what to do by what what the pop may begin to see as an incompetent, and fundamentally weak and corrupt governing system.

Although I've got China and N Korea in my mind here, the principle probably holds for most if not all countries.

Basically, people get fed up with each other, and seem to almost revel in bickering and, ultimately, fighting. 

China's draconian birth control "laws" have gone so far that the people who implemented it now seem to "think" that the population rate is dropping below a sustainable level. Someone got their maths wrong somewhere ?
