OpenStudy (steve816):

If I jump out of a car moving at say 100 mph, will I be ok? What would happen? It's a physics question.

OpenStudy (mhchen):

Neglecting air-friction, you will be moving 0mph relative to the car, and 100mph relative to the ground.

OpenStudy (518nad):

the second you land on the ground, there will be a frictional force applied to you away from your center of mass causing a torque about your center of mass, causing an angular momentum until the other end of your body collides with some mass
