OpenStudy (calculusxy):

What is the point that is exactly 3 units away from the point (8, 1) and lies on the line y=8x-7?

OpenStudy (mathmate):

Can you please check the question for typos, because the point (8,1) is 6.946 from the line y=8x-7. 6.946>3.0 so any point 3 units from (8,1) will not touch the line. http://prnt.sc/d0ypx9

OpenStudy (mathmate):

Oops, the radius is not correct. Here's the corrected version, but still the circle does not touch the line. http://prnt.sc/d0ys01
