What are the period and phase shift for f(x) = −4 tan(x − π)?

OpenStudy (lucyluv16):

@IrishBoy123

OpenStudy (lucyluv16):

please!!!!!!!

OpenStudy (irishboy123):

shift = pi ?!?! what ya reckon?

OpenStudy (irishboy123):

so we say that \(\tilde x = x - \pi\) and then we can say that \( f(\tilde x) = −4 \tan \tilde x \) from whence the period, amplitude etc the tangent one is 'orrible
