OpenStudy (firejay5):

Solve each equation. Then check your solution.

OpenStudy (firejay5):

\[\frac{ 3 }{ 2 }y - y = 4 + \frac{ 1 }{ 2 }y\]

OpenStudy (firejay5):

so I combined like terms 3/2 - 1 and got 1/2y

OpenStudy (firejay5):

1/2y + 0 = 4 + 1/2y and then I subtracted 1/2 y from both sides and I'm left with 0 = 4 which the answer is no solution (NS)

OpenStudy (poto):

It's right. I got the same thing

OpenStudy (firejay5):

Okay just checking making sure my work is right
