OpenStudy (syaza97):

How to solve lim x approaches infinity (Inx-e^x)?? anybody can help me??

OpenStudy (irishboy123):

\( \lim\limits_{x \to \infty} \ln x-e^x\) ????? if this is it, the exponential is the dominant term so you can see where the overall function is going ....South Formalism: \(= \lim\limits_{x \to \infty} \ln x- \lim\limits_{x \to \infty} e^x\) so its like a big number minus a mahoosive number

OpenStudy (syaza97):

So do we have to diffirentiate the fuction??

OpenStudy (irishboy123):

i don't see the point of differentiating, no i reckon stuffing some numbers into your calculator would get you there. let x = 1, 10, 100 should do it.....

OpenStudy (syaza97):

Ok...i get it...thank you^^

OpenStudy (irishboy123):

good-o 'ave a medul :-)
