Help on this 2part question

zarkam21 (zarkam21):

563blackghost (563blackghost):

I do believe we would input the points according to the question. \(\Large\bf{(h,v) \rightarrow (2,-2)}\) \(\huge\bf{y=a(x-2)^{2}+(-2)}\) Then we input the points it needs to go through so the format of a point is \(\large{(x,y)}\)so we input the point given. \(\huge\bf{\color{red}{-1}=a({\color{red}{3}-2)^{2}+(-2)}}\) Simplify :)

563blackghost (563blackghost):

So `(3-2)` equals `1` in which we would square it which would still equal 1. \(\huge\bf{-1=a(1)+(-2)}\) Simplify. \(\huge\bf{-1=a-2}\) In which we would add 2 to each side to isolate `a`. \(\huge\bf{a = 1}\)

zarkam21 (zarkam21):

and then part 2?

563blackghost (563blackghost):

I do believe it is written as. \(\huge\bf{y=1(x-2)^{2}+(-2)}\)

zarkam21 (zarkam21):

Thank you once again.
