draw the coordinates on a diagram. make a right angled triangle featuring the two points quoted. then use PYTHAGORAS theorem for the hypotenuse which is, I think, the distance you want. the other two sides' lengths calculated from the difference between their x coords and the difference between their y coords IF I'M RIGHT should give you the answer.
