OpenStudy (mtalhahassan2):

I need help

OpenStudy (mtalhahassan2):

http://prnt.sc/d1hbf9

OpenStudy (anas.p):

What do you think?

OpenStudy (mtalhahassan2):

c?

OpenStudy (anas.p):

Can I have a reason for that?

OpenStudy (mtalhahassan2):

because the voltage divider used for measuring electric potential

OpenStudy (mtalhahassan2):

as we see in the diagram

OpenStudy (mtalhahassan2):

idk maybe i am wrong

OpenStudy (anas.p):

Volatage divider from its name says that it divides voltage, but we do not have any place that the voltage can be divided.

OpenStudy (anas.p):

We know that it cannot be a fixed resistor. because we can vary it. Its a potentiometer.

OpenStudy (anas.p):

And a rheostat and a variable resistor is the same thing. So can chose both answers, but I would prefer the first one, variable resistor

OpenStudy (mtalhahassan2):

oh ok thanks you

OpenStudy (mtalhahassan2):

http://prnt.sc/d1hesx But then in this case it be c I believe as the v "voltage divider is given?

OpenStudy (anas.p):

yes indeed, but tell me, how will the voltage be divided?

OpenStudy (mtalhahassan2):

sorry but I didn't study this all yet so

OpenStudy (anas.p):

aah, its cool.... you will learn. feel free to ask any doubts. Watch youtube videos on this, if you need very clear understanding. good luck.

OpenStudy (mtalhahassan2):

yes I am studying some stuff from wikipeda but last question http://prnt.sc/d1h3te

OpenStudy (mtalhahassan2):

i got c

OpenStudy (anas.p):

you are correct

OpenStudy (mtalhahassan2):

thanks a lot for the help!

OpenStudy (radar):

I dislike problems such as them, it component is a variable resistor, the circuit has it being used as a rheostat. So how does one select the best option.....???? I choose rheostat, as it asks what is the circuit component functioning as? I think.

OpenStudy (anas.p):

yes that is indeed irritating
