@pooja195 @Ashleyisakitty

OpenStudy (akshvas):

1 yard is 36 inches

OpenStudy (akshvas):

\[8\frac{ 5 }{ 8 } = \frac{ 8*8 +5 }{ 8 }=\frac{ 69 }{ 8}\]

OpenStudy (akshvas):

69/8 yards means you've got (69/8)*36 = 310.5 inches

OpenStudy (akshvas):

1 shirt requires 60" so to know the number of shirts we need to divide 310.5 by 60 which comes out to 5.175 so you can make 5 shirts as 0.175 shirts is meaningless

OpenStudy (cicilybailey14):

Sooo whats the answer @AkshVas

OpenStudy (akshvas):

OpenStudy (akshvas):
