algae would need sunlight and some more stuff to survive tho
and the area used to have glacier earlier implies that theres less sunlight and stuff

i think it should be grass cuz i saw some pics of retreating glaciers and there was grass

but wouldnt primary succession occur and that includes algae and fungus and such? those start to normalize the land which then i think grass can grow after the soil is good again, i dont know i am still thinking algae x.x
