What is wrong with the following sentence? "Folding the newspaper, his eyebrows went up." It is unacceptable to precede a clause with a modifying phrase The use of the verb "went" is grammatically incorrect The modifying phrase "Folding the newspaper" does not link well to the noun it modifies "Folding" is not used correctly
