OpenStudy (gnksngai):

OpenStudy (oihgse):

B?

OpenStudy (maddielb):

Still need help?

OpenStudy (mangotangochick):

The answer would be C: In order to store something, you would want to package it into compact strands. Say you had loads of blocks of lego and you wanted to organise them to put them away in a little box - you would stack them and stick them together. In a similar way, the monomer (monosaccharide), glucose is POLYMERISED to make the polymer (the polysaccharide) glycogen (which composes of both amylose and amylopectin). (Lysis is the digestion of a cell through lysosomes by the rupture of the cell wall or membrane! :) )
