Jack and Jill are skating toward each other. When they collide, they both stop without any other movement. If Jack and Jill make up a closed system, what can be said about the momentum of each person prior to the collision? Jill’s momentum is greater than Jack’s and in an opposite direction. They have equal momentum in the same direction. They have equal momentum in opposite directions. Jack’s momentum is greater than Jill’s and in an opposite direction.

OpenStudy (18jonea):

so this one T hey have equal momentum in opposite directions.
