flattening the box will maximize the SA area assuming that the volume taken up is the same

by flattening you can increase the total amount of surface area an area can store

As a physical example, the box has a lot of empty space in the center when in a box shape, and the empty space is minimized when flattened

There seems to be an increasing tendency for users to make a new post without reference to the old post, and without supplying relevant details.
