OpenStudy (maddielb):

Solve either of them or both of them?

OpenStudy (brokenstanzas):

You need to isolate the variable. Do you know how to do that?

OpenStudy (maddielb):

For 6b<42 you divide by 6 on both sides and get b<7 For 4b + 12 > 8 you subtract 12 from both sides and get 4b>-4 and then you divide 4 from both sides which gives you b>-1 So you would have b<7 or b>-1
