And when it gets back to the way it started, how many degrees have you rotated it through?

Use that to figure out how many degrees you can rotate it (it'll also be any multiple of that number).

Okay you can turn it once to get it back the way it started. i would rotate 45 degrees

Not close... You can rotate it slightly counter clockwise so it now looks like this

Does it look exactly the same as above? How many more times can you rotate it, just like that, before it's back to exactly how it started (letters in the same positions)?

When you turn something through a full circle, how many degrees have you rotated it?
