he he I think that it's C. LIKE POLES REPEL, UNLIKE POLES ATTRACT. So, although the compass needle will be possibly LABELLED North, maybe that should be "North seeking pole (ie a South pole)" but that would probably cause more chaos than help. http://perendis.webs.com

@YourBoyDusty yup, I can well understand that confusion. It may be that the best thing you can do is to take a wild guess, and then see what "sir" or "miss" or whoever marks this stuff says. If you get a chance to, and can be bothered, then you might try showing my post to an "expert" and then throwing a few custard pies around. Try not to incite a "you're not making sense" riot, though :), if you can. With humour.
