massively if not totally is my kneejerk response to your enclosed question. As an extreme, eskimoes near the north pole compared with africans on the equator. very much different. America itsel is a vast area, and that geography impacts on transport - air travel etc (us do air travel same way europe do trains and buses.
South america is sub tropical/tropical/equatorial with associated vegetation and associated "farming" thereof.
North America is more industrialised.
Middle/central america is probaby mexicoish, which suggests that it's pretty arid.
