Part 1: Celebration! You and three friends will be going out to eat at your favorite restaurant! Each of you will order three items of your choice. You will also need to leave a tip. If you split the bill evenly among all four of you, how much will each person need to contribute? 1. Locate a menu for your favorite restaurant and pick three items for yourself and each friend. 2. List the restaurant name, items, and prices in a table like the one below. 3. In the column labeled Subtotal, determine the cost of each person’s order. 4. The customary tip is 20% of the total bill. OpenStudy (joshmorris):

Ok

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

Okay, so at cicis, you get a pizza buffet, a drink and something else on the menu 3 of your friends get the same thing

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

*because that's basically all cicis has...

OpenStudy (adelyn_helps):

@sleepyjess how much does that cost btw?

OpenStudy (bonnieisflash1.0):

why are we talking about dinners

OpenStudy (adelyn_helps):

because its the question

OpenStudy (bonnieisflash1.0):

i don't know if that is the question

OpenStudy (bonnieisflash1.0):

i think it's number 4.

OpenStudy (adelyn_helps):

CC's Pizza, Pizza Buffet and a drink,(your gonna have to do the price because I have no idea what the price is) so that means I can't do the rest...tell me the price and I can do the rest

OpenStudy (bonnieisflash1.0):

huh? @_@

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

trying to find the price

OpenStudy (joshmorris):

Find the website

OpenStudy (bonnieisflash1.0):

what website

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

I think it's like 5.99 for buffet, 1.49 for drink. website doesn't have prices on it

OpenStudy (adelyn_helps):

its 5.69 for the pizza buffet and for the drink its 1.89

OpenStudy (adelyn_helps):

just googled it...lol

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

but they each have to get 3 things

OpenStudy (joshmorris):

Ok

OpenStudy (bonnieisflash1.0):

did you get it from the website

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

Cicis only has 2 things... pizza and drinks

OpenStudy (adelyn_helps):

ik

OpenStudy (joshmorris):

Why dont we do Texas Road House

OpenStudy (adelyn_helps):

ok way better

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

Okay... what do you get at Texas Roadhouse?

OpenStudy (bonnieisflash1.0):

steak

OpenStudy (bonnieisflash1.0):

chicken tenders

OpenStudy (joshmorris):

Bacon Hamburger

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

How big of a steak?

OpenStudy (bonnieisflash1.0):

peanuts

OpenStudy (bonnieisflash1.0):

like big if you want it like that

OpenStudy (bonnieisflash1.0):

biscuts

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

Okay, drinks are $1.99 and we have 4 people, so 4*1.99

OpenStudy (bonnieisflash1.0):

fries

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

I'll get an 8oz steak for $11.99, bonnie has an 11oz steak for $14.99. What do you want Adelyn and Josh?

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

and we can all get dessert for our 3rd thing haha

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

or an appetizer

OpenStudy (bonnieisflash1.0):

nachos

OpenStudy (adelyn_helps):

ok say you get fried pickles which are 4.99 a fort worth ribeye which is 16.99 for the 12 oz and you get a drink which is 1.99 so all added up is 95.52 omg this placce is expensive and then you would add the tax

OpenStudy (bonnieisflash1.0):

yes i went there before and it was worth it

OpenStudy (bonnieisflash1.0):

it taste so good

OpenStudy (adelyn_helps):

ok i got you this far and now idk what to do...

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

I don't think they're including tax in this... $95.88 if we all get what adelyn said. Then take a 20% tip so multiply it by 1.2 which is 115.06 including tip. Since everyone is splitting the bill evenly, divide 115.06 by 4

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

We've gotten you far enough with that, can you do the last step @JoshMorris ?

OpenStudy (joshmorris):
