do you know what domain or range is?
OpenStudy (thehollywoodstud):
X AND Y ?
OpenStudy (thehollywoodstud):
x is domain
y is range
OpenStudy (tgstudios):
so to make a domain, you would take all the x-values of a sequence of numbers, from least to greatest, and put them together (remember: always least to greatest). :D

Looking at this, #1 Is A, and #2 is B correct?
OpenStudy (tgstudios):
yup :D
OpenStudy (thehollywoodstud):
got it! can you help with more?
OpenStudy (thehollywoodstud):
what about the next one? if the points are a relation or not?
OpenStudy (tgstudios):
a function means all the x or y values are not the same. If 2 of the x-values are the same, then it is not a function. if 2 of the y-values are the same, then it is not a function. in finding function or not, x-values and y-values are separate. :)

OpenStudy (tgstudios):
actually, function only deals with x-values so forget about y-values when finding function or not.
OpenStudy (thehollywoodstud):
so this one is a function?
OpenStudy (tgstudios):
no, because 2 of the x-values are the same
OpenStudy (thehollywoodstud):
sorry, no its not since the two pairs of 9
OpenStudy (tgstudios):
yes you are correct! :D

yay im sorta getting this, can you help with the next one?
OpenStudy (thehollywoodstud):
the what is F one
OpenStudy (tgstudios):
yes, on the next one, sense it is f(-4), you would input -4 in all the spots where "x" is...
OpenStudy (thehollywoodstud):
f(-4)=7x+3?
OpenStudy (tgstudios):
so 7x would be 7(-4)

OpenStudy (thehollywoodstud):
before we solve it right? like the starting of the equation
OpenStudy (tgstudios):
standard form is Ax + By = C
OpenStudy (tgstudios):
I'm actually not sure what the answer is for this one but I know its not A. So theres ur clue I don't know what else.
OpenStudy (thehollywoodstud):
