How much does geography affect people's lives? Use what you have learned about culture in the Americas to respond to the prompt. Be sure to cite at least one piece of evidence about each geographic region (middle america, south america, and north america) from the text to support your ideas.

Looks like any essay or some such. You are required to cite evidence from your text. First step is read the text if you haven't already. As you read or re-read, lock for info about the geography of each of those regions. Underline, circle or copy and paste the info to one place. Next collect your information into a page with 3 columns. One for each region. If you have lots of stuff make a page for each region. You have 3 paragraphs or 3 sections of your paper. Now organize each column into some kind of logical order and start writing. Use the information from the text. You can rewrite, using the ideas. Or just edit and add words so that the stuff you have makes sense. Since the requirement uses the verb "cite," make sure you cite sources. Its all from the same text so just write citations into your writing. Example: On page 97 it states that much of South America is a rain forest. This system works no matter how long the writing is suppose to be. If it's a couple sentences about each region it works. If it's paragraphs about each, you just have to put in more info from the text.
