OpenStudy (princesskitty01):

Using complete sentences, explain the key features of the graph of the sine function.

OpenStudy (osprey):

The sine function is such that sin zero degrees is equal to sine 180 degrees is equal to sine 360 degrees. All are zero. The function goes from zero up to 1 at 90 degrees, and becomes -1 at 270 degrees. The function repeats that shape from 360 degrees to 720 degrees and so one every 360 degrees. In contrast to the COSINE function which is EVEN - mirror symmetrical about the y axis, the sine function is ODD - not mirror symmetrical, though possibly rotationally symmetric. http://perendis.webs.com Wow that was hard work.
