Quick question about square roots and cubes and such

OpenStudy (milliedelongg):

I have (x+2)^3 and need to do the opposite and what not idk how to put it into my calculator or how to calculate it at all. I know how to do a normal square root just not a cube

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

You could always just raise the quantity to the \(\large 1/3\) power as well :)

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

\[\large \sqrt{a} = a^{1/2}\] \[\large \sqrt[3]{a} = a^{1/3}\] \[\large \sqrt[n]{a} = a^{1/n}\]

OpenStudy (milliedelongg):

okay thanks
