we have given power so we can easily find focal length negative sign means it's near sightedness ig use lens formula :- \[\large \bf \frac{1}{v}-\frac{1}{u}=\frac{1}{f}\] u is technically `zero`cuz we gotta find far point so initially we take u as our initial position so,after plugging u=0,we get v=f=40 cm(excluding sign)

bhai galat likh diya :( far point means infinity so 1/v tends to zero so -1/u=1/f u=-f u=40 cm
