Part C is what I need help with.

OpenStudy (destinyyyy):

I have the answers for p, q and the n1p, n1q, n2p, n2q

OpenStudy (destinyyyy):

Im kinda stuck after that

OpenStudy (destinyyyy):

@dumbcow

OpenStudy (destinyyyy):

The formula is under chapter 8. Its the first one listed

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

ok so far you should have: p1 = 0.845 p2 = 0.85 \[P = \frac{397+289}{470+340} = 0.8469\] Then \[z = \frac{0.845 - 0.85}{\sqrt{(.8469)(1-.8469)(\frac{1}{470}+\frac{1}{340})}} = -0.195\]

OpenStudy (destinyyyy):

Um where did you get p1 and p2 from? And that cant be right. The answer is -0.21

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

p1 = 397/470 p2 = 289/340

OpenStudy (destinyyyy):

Ohhh.. Okay I was looking at the wrong formula.. Catching on now

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

i made the mistake of rounding, thats why im a little off dont round p1 and p2

OpenStudy (destinyyyy):

Okay. Thank you!
