OpenStudy (tgstudios):

i have no clue how to figure this out!!

OpenStudy (tgstudios):

........

OpenStudy (steve816):

\[\Huge \sqrt{5}=5^\frac{ 1 }{ 2 }\]

OpenStudy (hayisforhorses):

Put the exponents in fraction form. 5 ^ 1/3 * 5 ^ 1/2 ------------------------ 5 ^ 5/3 Multiply the top ones (add exponents) 5 ^ 5/6 ----------- 5 ^ 5/3 Then divide (subtract exponents) 5 ^ -5/6 or 1 ----- 5^5/6

OpenStudy (steve816):

\[\Huge \sqrt[3]{5}=5^\frac{ 1 }{ 3 }\]

OpenStudy (tgstudios):
