OpenStudy (hanna1):

will medal and fan!! Which ordered pairs, in the form (x,y), are solutions to the equations? (x+3)y=14 (3, 2) (11, 1) (5, 2) (7, 2)

OpenStudy (mhchen):

You can plug each of them into the equation. The ordered pairs are in the format (x , y) Then you simplify the equation to see if the 2 sides equal. If they don't equal, then it's NOT a solution.
