So the problem is \[\left| -20 \right|-\left| 6 \right|\] When you have a negative inside an absolute value it is becomes positive because when a number is inside an absolute value it is always positive. Also since the 6 is positive, it stays the same so it will end up like: \[20-6\]

OpenStudy (maddieayeeee):

So answer is 14?

OpenStudy (maddieayeeee):

I got it!

OpenStudy (maddieayeeee):

Thanks!
